Welcome to the Play-Cricket.Com Website for the South Northants Cricket League for the 2012 Season.

Whether you are a Player, Club Official, Captain, Umpire, or just a keen supporter, this is the site where all the League information can be found, fixtures, results, tables, statistics and scorecards. This site brings together all Clubs in the SNCL and can be as good as you want it to be.

I urge all Clubs to nominate one or two people to register their own Club and update the information on their own site on a weekly basis, which automatically updates this site. If you have any queries, or need any help in doing so, plaase contact me.

The SNCL has been established since 1920, the South Northants Cricket League has been a unifying resource that has provided and developed the playing of cricket within a league environment at both Junior and Senior levels. The Junior Cricket League formed in 1970.

The South Northants Cricket League is the oldest league within the County. Over the years, 96 different Cricket Clubs have participated in the league and have fielded 128 different teams.

Today, the South Northants Cricket League has expanded, and is a popular League in which to play, with some very high cricket standards, but still retaining the traditional Village Cricket environment.

The SNCL draws clubs from South Northamptonshire, the founder backbone region together with Clubs from Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Warwickshire.
