South Northants Cricket League

The South Northants Cricket League has been established since 1920 and has been a unifying resource that has provided and developed the playing of cricket within a league environment at both Junior and Senior levels. The Junior Cricket League formed in 1970.

The South Northants Cricket League is the oldest league within the County. Over the years, 101 different Cricket Clubs have participated in the league and have fielded 135 different teams.

Today, the South Northants Cricket League has expanded, and is a popular League in which to play, with some very high cricket standards, but still retaining the traditional Village Cricket environment.

The South Northants Cricket League draws clubs from South Northamptonshire, the founder backbone region together with Clubs from Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Warwickshire.
